Platform Steel Grid Plate
The weight of platform steel grid plate refers to the theoretical weight after wrapping and surface treatment (except for non surface treatment). The difference between actual weight and theoretical weight is due to the difference of edge, opening and incision. In the industrial platform steel grate weight calculation and steel plate delivery settlement, unified theoretical weight calculation basis. For steel grilles with a length of less than 1 meters (such as trench covers) or steel sheets that need special edge wrapping, the weight will increase as the edge plate increases. When the length of the steel grate is not less than 1 meters, the theoretical weight of the steel plate shall be calculated by using the following formula.

T1 - bearing flat steel width in millimeters (mm);
B1 - bearing flat steel thickness, in millimeters (mm).
N1 - the number of flat steel bars is loaded in the steel grid plate per meter.
T2 - the width of the bar, the unit is millimeter (mm);
B2 - the thickness of the horizontal bar, the unit is millimeter (mm);
N2 - number of bar bars in steel grid plate per meter;
T3 - width of flat steel with flat edges, in millimeters (mm).
The thickness of b3-- flat steel is about millimeter (mm).
The density of material is kilogram per cubic meter (kg/m3).
The steel density is calculated by 7850kg/m3.

Remarks: because the surface of steel grating should be removed after galvanization, the weight and thickness are basically not changed much before galvanizing.
